John and Kelly Mayden feel blessed to be called upon by God to adopt two of His most precious angels from Eastern Europe.  Anastaysia, who will be 6 years old in March, and Sandy, who is 3 years old, will soon  not only be sisters, but will also be welcomed home by 2 sisters [ages 16 and 9] and 5 brothers [ages 14, 12, 11,8 and 3 years]!    

The 2 youngest boys were adopted domestically.  So while not new to experiencing Gods loving hands in the expansion of their family through adoption, international adoption is definitely something new and an adventure they prayerfully embrace! 

John and Kelly have been married for 16 ? years.  They operate a farm and cattle feedlot and love raising their family in the country.  Kelly is blessed to be able to stay at home full time.   They would not change a thing about their life even if they could! 

Adoption has always held a special place in Kelly's heart.  God, through His wisdom, gave her a husband that would travel with her on the adoption journey.   Before the process of adopting Lucas, the youngest, was started God laid the verse Luke 12:48 upon her heart.   Having felt so greatly blessed with much, she realized that  God was speaking to her to share all  that he had freely given.   To enable John and Kelly to embrace His calling for their lives he gave them both a great love for children, and a belief that children are quite simply a joy, specifically GOD?s JOY!
